Site area: 47 527 m2
Program: Blue Garden Resort – urban planning, hospitality

Cape Brusje is situated on the northern side of island Hvar, prominently located between Bruške vale - hidden pebble beaches accessible to yachts, sailors and local residents.

Area unique for it's untouched nature, and slopes with pine trees that have been growing on the site for over a century, hiding and the rocky shores that dive deep into crystal clear Adriatc sea.

The Blue Garden Resort is located on the highest part of the hill, catching the views to northern shores of the island of Hvar and across Hvar channel, all the way to the islands of Šolta and Brač.

Architecture of resort, with its broken volumes and rounded lines, evokes the layers of the steep Hvar coast and follows the shape of existing terrain, making volume blend in with it's surroundings. The desire to preserve existing Dalmatian pine trees resulted in creation of voids within the volume, in which we keep autochthonous vegetation, and at the same time open the views for accommodation units. The green roofs of the volume and the green facades of the hotel were designed with intention to integrate architecture into existing landscape.

Additional facilities follow slopes of the terrain as terraces, covedred with greenery and Mediterranean gardens, where visitors can relax enjoing the scent of pine and Hvar lavender. Vehicular and pedestrian accesses have been transformed into promenades that connect recreational facilities, retail, cafes and restaurants, creating attractive squares and pubilc spaces for gathering.

Hotel Blue Garden Resort contains 275 accommodation units, each having a unique sea view.

At the very top of the hotel visitors can enjoy a coctail at rooftop bar or dine in restaurant with spacious terraces catching views of the Hvar channel. Cascading volumes of the hotel building made it possible to open the view from all parts of the hotel.

Visitors can relax in hotel's wellness zone with indoor and outdoor infinity pool and sunbathing area overlooking the surrounding woods.

There are parking spaces for the entire complex planned in the underground garages
