This house has very specific terrain constraints, due to its very steep topography. It serves as a team building house and a private retreat for the owner. It’s located on the south hillside of Medvednica mountain with beautiful views over the capital, Zagreb.
The site is organized through terraces with different functions. On the top is the entrance and parking area and then the open stairway takes you down to the next level, communal area with large video screen intended for team building purposes. On the level below is a pool with open green terraces and a small living space of 50 m2. On the lowest level is a large open barbecue terrace. All the levels are connected with concrete stairway, material that was used throughout the house.
